Guide To Child Safety For Advocates

This guide has been developed by Queensland Advocacy for Inclusion (QAI) to help advocates in understanding Queensland’s child safety system. It provides an overview of key processes, including child protection intake, investigation, assessment, and court proceedings. The guide also explains the role of family group meetings and how they contribute to the development of case plans.

QAI is an independent, community-based systems and advocacy organisation for people with disability in Queensland.

Please note: This guide is for general information only. It is not legal advice and should not be relied upon as such. We strongly recommend seeking legal advice for matters related to your individual circumstances.
